About ​Matthew Grant

Dr. Matthew Grant​ is sociologist of Techno-Sexuality & MIT Media Lab Affiliate. My research decodes how ​synthetic intimacy technologies​ (sex dolls, AI partners) transform human connections. Focus areas include: algorithmic consent protocols; disability-inclusive sexuality framework. Leading the EU-funded ​Silicone Ethics Initiative, I collaborate with Johns Hopkins Medical Center on haptic rehabilitation systems while serving as peer reviewer for The Journal of Sex Research.
